You can enhance your onboarding tracks by adding a variety of materials to help guide candidates through the onboarding process. The flexibility of the platform allows you to tailor each track to meet the specific needs of different positions. Here’s how you can customize and enrich the onboarding experience:

Videos: Add videos to help candidates get to know team members or provide training content.

Articles: Include informative articles or documentation to provide additional reading material.

Checklists: Create checklists to ensure that candidates complete all required steps during the onboarding process.

External Links: Insert external links to important resources, websites, or tools that candidates may need access to.

Quizzes: Test candidate understanding with quizzes to assess their knowledge and reinforce key points.

Files: Upload relevant files such as employee handbooks, policy documents, or presentations for easy access.


Videos

You can create a video with the following steps:

  • Click "Add new"

  • Click "Add new video"

  • You can record a new video on the spot, upload a video from your device, or make a screen recording.

  • Once you have uploaded your video, remember to give the video a title, and then you are able to save the video.


  • Here's some ideas how you can use the video:

    • Welcome Message from Leadership

    • Introduction to Team Members

    • Company Overview

    • Training

    • Compliance & Security

    • Product & Service Overviews

    • HR Policies/Benefits

Articles

You can add a new article with the following steps:

  • Click "Add new"

  • Click "Add new article"

  • Give the article a name, and create the article in the "Editor"- view

  • Save the article

  • Here's some some ideas for articles:

    • Articles about the company (e.g. history, mission, vision, and values)

    • Presentation of company's executives and leaders

    • Articles that describe the company’s work environment

    • Job responsibilities, expectations, and objectives for the new hire’s specific role

    • Step-by-step guides, and best practises for new users

    • Articles on company policies, such as remote work guidelines, dress code, time-off procedures etc.

    • Articles that explain the company’s compliance standards, data security practices, and privacy policies.

    • Health and Safety Guidelines

    • Internal tools overview

    • HR- related articles such as how vacation days, sick leave, holidays, and personal time off work are handled within the company.


Checklists

An onboarding checklist is a structured list of tasks and activities that need to be completed during the onboarding process.

You can add a new checklist with the following steps:

  • Click "Add new"

  • Click "Add new checklist"

  • Fill in the required fields

  • Click "Add item" to add more tasks

  • You can view the checklist, and follow the onboarding progress by opening the employees profile.

  • Here's some examples which tasks the checklists could include:

    • Meetings with colleagues

    • Department tour

    • Training sessions

    • Preparation of workspace

    • Introduction to company culture

    • Set up work tools (email, computer, phone, software access)

    • Benefits overview

    • Complete HR paperwork

    • Schedule check-ins (with manager, mentor)


External Links

You can add a new external link with the following steps:

  • Click "Add new"

  • Click "Add new checklist"

  • Add link title and add link URL

  • Links can include:

    • Company website

    • Company Intranet

    • HR Portal

    • IT Support

    • Incident Reporting

    • Employee Feedback Survey

    • Support Page

Quiz

You can create a new quiz with the following steps:

  • Click "Add new"

  • Click "Add new quiz"

  • Fill in the following: quiz name, description, and the score required to pass.

  • Add questions, and answers. Remember to tick the correct option(s).

  • Examples of quizzes:

    • Information security quiz

    • Job specific Knowledge quiz

    • Company policies quiz

Files

You can add different files with the following steps;

  • Click "Add new"

  • Click "Add new file"

  • Fill in the title and choose file to upload a file from your device

  • Examples of files:

    • Employee handbook

    • Organisational chart

    • HR Forms

    • IT Setup Guide

    • Cybersecurity Best Practises

    • Communication Guidelines

    • Performance Review Template

Forms

You can create new forms with the following steps;

  • Click "Add new"

  • Click "Add new form"

  • Fill in the form title and form description


  • Here are some examples of forms you can include in the materials:

    • A form where employees can specify the type of work related equipment they would like to have.
