Captions for video interview questions

Captions are available for video interview questions in English, Finnish, and Swedish. If you would like to enable this feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager at Recright or email us at support@recright.com.

Please note:

  • Captions are currently only available for video questions, not for answers. This applies to both regular and timed video interviews.

  • Captions will appear after the video questions have been recorded.

  • To view captions, users must click the “CC” button on the video player—they do not appear automatically.

  • The interview language setting determines the caption language. For example, if you set the interview language to English but ask questions in Finnish, the system may not recognize the spoken language correctly, and captions may not work as expected.


Below is an example of how the video interview appears from the candidate’s perspective. The candidate also needs to click the “CC” button (located at the bottom of the video player) to view the captions.
