The Flash plugin in your browser needs to turn on the camera and connect to the video server.
Normally, you'd see this box when connecting for the first time:
You need to select "allow" before RecRight can access the camera, and then choose "remember" so that you don't need to do this again.
If you didn't get this question or you are unable to select from the box, click on the video recording box with the secondary button of your mouse and select "Settings...". You'll find the above dialogue, on the tab with a camera symbol.
If it still doesn't work, make sure your camera is properly set up. Try if it works with another software like Skype. Also make sure no other application or web page is using the camera currently.
