With our TeamTailor integration, you can easily invite candidates to record a video interview on the Recright platform.
Important: If the integration isn’t enabled in your account yet, please follow the instructions under Setting up the integration first.
Using the integration
Prerequisites: Your Teamtailor user needs to be at least ‘Hiring Manager’ role to use the integration. Hiring Manager enables you to create jobs (not publish), edit jobs and add triggers. You can view and edit roles in Teamtailor by selecting Employees > Select a User > Settings > Role
Start the process by creating a new video interview in Recright
It is important to edit each interview’s Team and add all the users who should have access to view responses to this interview. You can edit the team by selecting an interview > Edit > Edit interview > Edit users Editing recruitment team
Activate a Recright Trigger in a Job in Teamtailor
Create your Job in Teamtailor and add a new Trigger to a stage (for example the Interview Stage) by clicking on the Triggers button
Select the Recright trigger
Select the Recright interview you want this Job to be linked to
Inviting candidates to a video interview
Move applied or added candidates to the video interview stage
Candidates will then be automatically emailed a video interview invitation by Recright and their Candidate Card will be updated.
If you want to edit the default invitation email of Recright, log into Recright, select the right interview, click "Edit" --> "Edit invitation email" and do the desired changes to the email. We recommend you to save your edited email as a template. Please note that templates can currently only be saved per video interview / position. More instructions here.
Once the candidate has completed the interview, their candidate card will be updated and a link to view the completed interview will be added.
Note: Anyone who clicks on the link has to login to Recright with their credentials and the user has to be a member of the interview’s team in order to access it. You can add team members from Recright by using these instruction: Editing recruitment team.
Setting up the integration
To enable this integration, follow the steps below. Prerequisites: You'll need a Recright account.
Go to Teamtailor Marketplace > ‘Video Interviews’ from left-hand menu > Choose Recright and click ‘Contact’
Activation takes you to Teamtailor Customer support. They will activate your integration on the Teamtailor platform. If you don’t know what your Teamtailor ‘Provider Key’ is, ask them to give it to you.
Important: Your integration is activated in Teamtailor but it will remain non-functional until you complete the following steps with Recright.
Next step is to have the integration activated in Recright. Contact your Recright sales representative about the activation. You will need to give them the Provider Key you have received from TeamTailor support.
After Recright has activated the integration, Teamtailor and Recright are connected and ready to use.
What personal data does Teamtailor send to Recright?
- Candidate’s first name, last name, email address and phone number.
- Note: Teamtailor does not save any personal data from Recright.
